- Get an idea of what the project is about. It conveys your interest about the production.
- Look at the script; know the meaning and purpose of the words. Your understanding of the text forms the basis for your performance.
- Look the part. It convinces the auditioners that you are suitable for the role.
- Listen to the feedback and directions offered by the casting director and make the necessary adjustments to your performance.
- Be polite and respectful at all times. Nobody wants to work with a jerk.
