"Thanks very much for bringing cheer and more importantly, helping us strengthen the bonds among the team members. We all commented how important it was to hear from team members who are usually quiet and reserved. There was no dull moment, and the program flow and your weaving of the takeaways is spot on and with the right touch. Thank you!!"
"I love working with Kamil because he has a great way of engaging the audience to make the session fun, interactive, and impactful for various teams here. He uses a variety of improv and acting techniques to promote closer collaboration, empathy, and growth - all in a safe environment for those new and experienced to improv. I highly recommend him to any teams looking to achieve those objectives in a fun, creative way!"
"I had an absolute blast at HCAC's storytelling workshop. Kamil is an excellent coach and made a 2-hour workshop fly by with lots of fun and laughter. My peers and I learnt so much during the short workshop, and even though we're not working in the arts industry, we found the storytelling skills really useful."
“It may seem intimidating for non theatre people, but our coach, Kamil, has a knack for bringing out the best in people. The exercises were progressive and our entire team thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. 10/10 recommend!”
"We are so glad to have worked with HCAC and Kamil who put up an amazing improv and interview skills workshop for our Future Women Leaders Forum 2021. All of our participants left the session with not just practical skills but with so much positivity and fun."
Kamil did an improv session for our regional team as a year-end celebration cum team-building event and it was a riot! It got everyone talking, literally. Kamil is a natural at stretching people beyond their comfort zone while making it fun and impactful. We would invite him back in a heartbeat!
Glad I signed up for classes in HCAC, learnt so much more within the span of weeks as compared to anywhere else. Comments were extremely helpful and targeted. Would definitely recommend anyone to come experience the learning yourself!
I attended Lee Strasberg's Method Acting Workshop at the end of 2017, and, to be honest, that was one of the most exciting and useful experience I have ever had. I can say for sure that this 8-session course went far beyond all my expectations. We all got so many positive energy, motivation, and support, and enjoyed everything from the studying process to the warm, friendly, and addicting atmosphere. The program has largely helped me to believe in myself and encouraged to keep moving forward in all areas of my life. Thank you, my classmates and Kamil, for such a great time. I am definitely coming back.
Great little acting school nestled in the middle of one of the most interesting neighbourhoods in Singapore, Little India. A general hub for any sort of theatrical arts - learning, practicing, and performance - all under one roof. I've only had the pleasure of attending a show here, but would love to come back for a class some day. The staff are all very nice, professional and friendly. And from what I can tell, the students and Teachers are all very close with one another. Good vibes only.
As a non-actor I had my apprehensions, but after the first lesson I knew I made a good choice. Over the course of 8 weeks you will not only learn methods of acting but how to be more self-aware. Acting really is about drawing from truth in your own experiences and the safe environment that HCAC provides allow you to bring yourself into the space, stripped and bare. I learnt not only how to sharpen my senses but also how to channel my strengths as a creative person. Kamil is an excellent mentor/coach and he gives you his undivided attention every week and beyond. Ultimately a place where anyone who really wants to dig deep and develop themselves will thrive in. Don’t worry if you don’t dream of making it to Hollywood. Give it a shot and you never know where it might take you!
Kamil Haque is one of the best teachers I’m fortunate to meet. He has genuine interest in the growth of his students - both from arts and non-arts background like me. He expects his students to give their best. He can be tough when needed but at the same he is also equally sensitive and supportive. I heard Kamil mention once that he wanted to create a creative space for artists to grow. I believe he achieved exactly that. He created a welcoming, inclusive space for artists, aspiring artists, and those who are figuring out their way, to be a part of something that is creative, beautiful, soulful, and fun. What i love most from this school in addition to its outstanding teachers is its diversity - in nationality, age and background. This for me creates a much richer experience. After 2 acting classes and a workshop, i’m convinced that "drama" is equally relevant to those in non-arts profession. It makes you more perceptive of people and is a great tool for self discovery and personal development. I also find it equally therapeutic. Grace Harper - Personally, this is the best acting workshop. Kamil is such a dedicated teacher and able to help each student tackle their own issues rather than apply standardised techniques to everyone. He really takes his time to understand his students. Also, HCAC is such a great community to be a part of, it provides a safe space to discover and learn more about myself. Bernadette - I've never met a teacher like Kamil before. His dedication to his students, love for the craft & fearlessness in calling you out to push your limits is so authentic! There's so much content and specificity in the material he provides (I've been to other acting workshops before and it hardly touches the surface on the things you will learn with Kamil) The sessions felt like a safe place and at some point, I felt good attending his classes. I definitely recommend his workshop not just for aspiring and working actors but for ANYONE that wants to feel like there's more to living than your daily routine. It's a refreshing course! THANK YOU KAMIL!
I thought it would be intimidating and stressful and that I would be inferior to everyone else. Instead I built my self confidence and became less self-conscious about what others think of me. I am able to express myself freely without worry or hesitation. For once, I feel like myself again.
