So last year I was shooting in a forest at like 12 a.m. and the whole scene was about me and my boyfriend going to Ghost Hunt and the characters die. So we were waiting for the shoot, right? Which can take a very long time on set. So we were sitting in a tent and suddenly everyone left. They had to go and shoot.
So it was just me and him. And I started to get a bit scary. It was funny at first until like the bush started to wrestle and we were like, what was that? What was that? And he was really freaking out. He took off his like, amulet. He took out his amulet. And I was like, Bro is going to be fine. And, you know if we die we die. It’s all right.
But everything was okay. I think it was just an animal. And if not, so what? Yeah. So that was scary. I think, for him mostly.

it’s really fun when the audience joins in and joins in the performance. There was one time when we were singing an improvised song in a club. We were singing and we were serenading an audience member. The audience member got up and started to sing along. Turns out she’s a trained soprano and she just blew us out of the water. She just kept singing, you know, and the entire song ended with the entire audience singing along led by this wonderful soprano.

I got the chance to perform at the Manila Improv Festival. It’s a huge stage and there are a lot of backstages. There’s a whole warehouse behind. And actually the team did warn us of the- I’m not gonna talk about it because you’re not supposed to talk about it. There’s a- there’s a surprise lurking in the corner um on the side of the stage.
The first time I came face to face with it I nearly lost it. It’s really terrifying and also, you know, during the show it’s dark so if you see it it will make you lose a step. But what was really scary was the first time it was on one side of the stage and after the show, it was on the other side of the stage. Nobody had time to move it.
There was only one and yeah I hope you get a chance to go to the Manila Improv Festival and if you do I’ll give you enough warning.
