The voice you hear is not the voice everyone else hears.
That’s why so many people are surprised when they hear themselves on a recording.

In this workshop facilitated by visiting instructor @markwongvoice you’ll develop greater awareness of your body, breath, and voice so that what you intend and what others hear become more closely aligned.
Because communication begins with awareness.

Not everything you live with is something you need to keep living with.

Many of the habits that limit us don’t feel like limitations anymore. They feel normal. Familiar. Just the way things are.

The Alexander Technique helps you uncover the unconscious patterns you’ve adapted to and offers practical tools for moving, thinking, and responding with greater ease and freedom.

When you notice what has been hidden, new choices become available.

Awareness is where change begins.

Join certified Alexander Technique instructor @poise.harmony when she comes to Singapore all the way from NYC to facilitate the Alexander Technique Masterclass.

    Different script.
Different character.
Different given circumstances.
Same actor.

Most actors don’t lack talent.
They lack access to appropriate training.

The Result?
The same emotional habits.
The same reactions.
 The same rhythms.
Again and again.

Strasberg’s Method isn’t about becoming emotional.
It’s about expanding what is available to you.

Join us for upcoming Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting Weekend Intensive.

You know exactly what you want to say.
But somehow it doesn’t always land.
The problem isn’t always your ideas. Sometimes it’s the way those ideas are being delivered.

This workshop facilitated by @markwongvoice helps you develop greater clarity, vocal presence, and confidence so that your message reaches the people it’s meant to reach.

Next Wednesday, June 3rd, Haque Centre of Acting & Creativity turns 13 years old! Join HCAC founder Kamil Haque @kamhaq and New York based certified Alexander Technique Instructor Lee Aik Hooi @poise.harmony for a free online introduction to her work.

This workshop offers a welcoming and accessible introduction to the Alexander Technique, a gentle yet transformative method of self-awareness that helps you recognize and release unnecessary tension in both body and mind. Rather than adding more effort, the Alexander Technique invites you to pause, notice, and release the unconscious habits that create strain.

Together, you will explore:
- How to become more aware of habits in movement, posture, and breathing.
- Why “trying harder” often creates more tension and what to do instead.
- Simple ways to reset, release, and move with greater ease and coordination.

Whether you are working, performing, parenting, or simply navigating a busy life, this session offers practical tools to help you feel more grounded and present.

Following this session, Aik Hooi will lead an in-person intensive workshop in July for those ready to go deeper. This online introduction is the perfect first step toward lasting change.

All are welcome to attend whether you’ve attended a workshop at HCAC or not! Use the QR code below to register or go to https://bit.ly/hcac13

We look forward to seeing you online!
