Originally from Penang, Malaysia, Mark completed his MA in Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London in 2015. Since 2016, he has been teaching at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), now part of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at the University of Melbourne, and he currently holds the position of Associate Lecturer (Voice Specialist). Mark has also taught at Federation University’s Arts Academy in Ballarat. As a Theatre Voice, Text and Accent/Dialect Coach, Mark’s credits include: TROY, K-BOX (Malthouse Theatre); NEVER HAVE I EVER, ENGLISH, LAURINDA (Melbourne Theatre Company); PASSING STRANGE (Antipodes Theatre Company); NORA: A DOLL’S HOUSE (Union House Theatre); ONE MAN TWO GUVNORS (Heidelberg Theatre Company); THE COLOR PURPLE, TITANIC (StageArt); THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (Ballarat Lyric Theatre Company); NEXT TO NORMAL, HIGH FIDELITY (Pursued by Bear).
