Lihong is a multilingual actress and writer who enjoys bringing global conversations to the local stage. She first stepped through HCAC’s red door in July 2019, and performed in a devised Kabaret show called Kabaret Singapura. She has since been exploring various elements of performance, including on-screen acting, musical theatre, spoken word, and playwriting. She co-produced Nervous Laughter in Dec 2019, which showcased short plays and poetry about the climate crisis, and was part of the global participatory project Climate Change for Theatre Action. She is currently working on a film-based piece for the Body Series, exploring eating disorders through an embodied ecologies lens.”
